ABOUT POSTADRESSEN.DK
Postadressen.dk is a private mail handling service that provides a Danish service address for receiving, scanning, and delivering paper mail and documents digitally.
The service is intended for private individuals who want digital access to their physical mail, for example when staying abroad, during temporary absence from Denmark, or when there is a need to receive scanned mail digitally in their cloud folder.
Postadressen.dk functions solely as a service address and cannot be used as a residential address, civil registration address, or for any form of public registration. The service does not include Digital Post from public authorities, parcels, or physical mail forwarding.
LEGALITY & ADDRESS
Is it legal to use Postadressen.dk as a mailing address for physical mail?
Yes. The address is used as a service address for receiving private paper mail and documents and is fully legal for this purpose. The address may only be used for receiving paper mail and documents and not as a residential address.
Do I need to change my civil registration address?
No. You do not need to change your civil registration address (CPR). Postadressen.dk is solely a mailing address and must not be used for CPR relocation or residential registration.
Which address should I use?
You will receive your personal mailing address in the welcome email after signing up, for example:

It is important that the address is used exactly as stated in the welcome email.
Do you receive Digital Post from public authorities?
No. Postadressen.dk handles paper mail and documents only. Digital Post from public authorities (e.g. via borger.dk or e-Boks) must still be handled by the customer.
Who should I provide my new address to?
You must update your address yourself with private senders from whom you wish to receive paper mail and documents, such as family, friends, associations, organizations, and subscriptions.
What types of mail do you not handle?
Postadressen.dk handles paper mail and documents only. Parcels, goods, and other shipments containing items are not accepted and will be rejected or returned. Mail that requires a signature, identification, or special receipt (e.g. registered mail) is not handled and may be rejected or returned.
Can my assigned address change?
Yes. The assigned service address may, in special cases, be changed for operational or capacity reasons, including relocation.
In such cases, at least 14 days' notice will generally be provided. The customer is always responsible for updating the address with all relevant senders.
Postadressen.dk does not provide automatic forwarding, redirection, or address updates on behalf of the customer.
RESPONSIBILITY & DEADLINES
Who is responsible for responding to my mail?
It is the customer's own responsibility to regularly review mail delivered in their cloud folder and respond in a timely manner.
As a rule, physical mail is scanned and then destroyed. Postadressen.dk does not offer physical mail forwarding as part of the service.
Failure by the customer to respond – including failure to monitor mail delivered in their cloud folder – cannot be claimed as liability against Postadressen.dk.
What if errors occur in scanning or delivery?
Postadressen.dk strives for correct and timely handling but cannot guarantee against technical errors, delays, or circumstances beyond our control.
SUBSCRIPTIONS & PAYMENT
What if I receive more mail than my subscription allows?
If you receive more documents than your subscription covers, we will contact you to find the appropriate solution before further scanning is carried out.
When does the service start?
The service is activated only once the user agreement has been accepted and payment for an active subscription has been completed. Postadressen.dk is not obliged to receive or handle mail before the subscription is active.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my subscription?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your subscription at any time if your needs change. You can always cancel or manage your current subscription. Click HERE to cancel or manage your current subscription.
How do I pay?
Payment is made automatically on a monthly basis via payment card. Bank transfer may be arranged in special cases – please contact us directly if this is necessary.
Is there a binding period?
No. There is no binding period. You may cancel your subscription from month to month in accordance with the user agreement.
What happens if I receive more mail than my subscription covers?
If you receive more documents than your subscription allows, we will inform you of the exceeded limit. Mail will generally not be processed until an upgrade has been made or a solution has been agreed upon.
When will I receive my mail digitally?
After payment has been completed and the subscription activated, Postadressen.dk can begin receiving and processing your mail. When mail is received, it is scanned and delivered to you as a PDF uploaded to your cloud folder.
RECEIPT & SCANNING
How do you receive my mail?
When you sign up, you are assigned a personal mailing address. You must change your mailing address directly with the senders from whom you receive paper mail and documents. When mail is sent to the address, we receive it and handle it in accordance with the user agreement.
What happens to my mail?
When we receive your mail, the letter is opened solely for the purpose of scanning. The mail is scanned and sent to you as a PDF uploaded to your cloud folder.
Do you scan entire books, folders, or very large documents?
No. Postadressen.dk is intended for digitizing ordinary physical mail in normal volume.
We do not scan entire books, booklets, magazines, binders, folders, or other extensive documents that, based on a reasonable assessment, exceed what can be considered ordinary physical mail.
If unusually extensive or voluminous mail is received, we reserve the right to reject scanning, contact you to arrange a separate agreement, or destroy or return the shipment.
How quickly is my mail scanned?
Mail is scanned manually and generally on an ongoing basis on weekdays. Processing times may vary depending on volume and capacity.
Can I have my letters forwarded physically?
As a rule, all mail is shredded immediately after scanning.
Postadressen.dk does not offer physical mail forwarding as part of the service. All physical mail is scanned and then destroyed.
How frequent will I receive my mail?
Mail is scanned manually and generally on an ongoing basis on weekdays. Processing times may vary.
How long is my mail and the scans stored?
Physical mail is destroyed after scanning and is not stored longer than necessary.
Postadressen.dk does not normally store digital copies of your mail after delivery. Scanned mail is uploaded to your cloud folder as a PDF, and you are responsible for storage. The customer is responsible for regularly downloading, storing, and backing up important documents.
How will I be notified when new mail arrives?
Your scanned mail is uploaded to your cloud folder as a PDF. The customer is responsible for staying informed on an ongoing basis.
SECURITY & ACCESS
How are confidentiality and personal data handled?
All mail is handled confidentially and solely for the purpose of scanning and digital delivery to the customer.
Postadressen.dk does not share mail or personal data with third parties, except for the technical storage required to deliver the service.
Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.
Does Postadressen.dk have responsibility for deadlines and legal consequences?
No. Postadressen.dk assumes no responsibility for the legal effect of letters or documents, deadlines, or consequences. The customer is solely responsible for timely handling of mail, including letters with deadlines or legal effect.
Is my mail and my data secure?
Yes. Postadressen.dk handles your mail and data with high data security and full discretion.
Who has access to my mail?
Only authorized personnel at Postadressen.dk have access to your mail – and solely for the purpose of scanning and digitization in accordance with the user agreement.
How long is my mail stored digitally?
Postadressen.dk does not normally store digital copies of your mail after delivery. Scanned mail is uploaded to your cloud folder as a PDF, and you are responsible for storage. We recommend that you regularly download important documents for your own storage.
CANCELLATION & DATA
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. Cancellation is carried out in accordance with the terms of the user agreement. There is no binding period.
Can Postadressen.dk cancel your subscription?
Yes. Postadressen.dk reserves the right to cancel a subscription at any time with one (1) month's notice in accordance with the user agreement.
In cases of misuse, material breach, or circumstances that, in Postadressen.dk's assessment, pose a risk to the service's operation, reputation, or legality, cancellation may occur without notice.
What happens to my mail if I cancel?
After cancellation, no new mail will be received. When your subscription expires, Postadressen.dk will stop receiving and processing new mail.
What happens if Postadressen.dk closes?
In the event of closure, active customers will be informed well in advance so they can update their mailing address with relevant senders.
Postadressen.dk does not store customers' mail digitally after the document has been uploaded to the customer's cloud folder.
What happens to my digital mail copies upon cancellation?
Postadressen.dk does not store digital copies of customers' mail after delivery. All mail is delivered as PDFs uploaded to the customer's cloud folder, and the customer is solely responsible for storage of received documents.
LIMITATIONS & USE
Can I receive parcels?
No. Postadressen.dk handles ordinary physical mail only. Parcels and larger shipments are not accepted.
Can others use my address?
No. The subscription is personal and may only be used by the person who created and pays for the subscription.
Can other customers have mail sent to the same address as me?
Yes. Postadressen.dk uses service addresses for receiving physical mail, and therefore multiple customers may have mail sent to the same address.
Each customer has their own personal subscription, and all mail is handled, digitized, and processed separately and uploaded to the customer's cloud folder confidentially.
Can I use Postadressen.dk from abroad?
Yes. Postadressen.dk is ideal for those staying abroad who want access to their Danish mail. Many of our customers are retirees, long-term travelers, digital nomads, and Danes living abroad.
What happens in case of misuse of the service?
Postadressen.dk reserves the right to suspend or terminate the agreement in cases of misuse, including attempts at public registration, use under a false name, or other use that violates the user agreement.
Do you handle urgent or time-critical mail?
No. Postadressen.dk is not suitable for handling urgent or time-critical mail. The customer is responsible for ensuring timely handling of important mail.

Postadressen.dk is operated as a Danish-registered company with a CVR number and is run from Denmark. It is aimed at private individuals who need digital access to physical mail.
